PointClickCare Technologies and Bridge Connector have formed a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the transferring of patient data across different systems.
Mississauga, Ontario-based PointClickCare is a cloud-based software vendor for the long-term and post-acute care sectors. As a company, PointClickCare’s solutions help providers optimize financial performance, retain staff and gain insights needed to manage risk.
PointClickCare is a major electronic health record (EHR) provider for skilled nursing and senior living providers, but it is making a push to gain significant market share with a home care EHR platform as well, according to Home Health Care News.. More than 16,000 skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), senior living communities and home health agencies currently use PointClickCare.
Headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with offices in Knoxville and Nashville, Tennessee, Bridge Connector is an integration platform as a service (iPaaS) company that delivers streamlined integration solutions for health care organizations.
“It is our mission to continue providing and optimizing the most effective, full-spectrum solutions for more than 16,000 senior-care facilities we support,” B.J. Boyle, vice president of product management at PointClickCare, said in a statement. “Besides improving care coordination between acute and post-acute care facilities, partnering with Bridge Connector will help drive better outcomes by maintaining full visibility to the patient journey, even after these patients have left the facility.”
