Large private hospitalist grop Adfinitas Health has announced today its acquisition of Advanced Inpatient Medicine (AIM), a northeastern Pennsylvania private hospitalist group that currently serves four hospitals as well as several long-term and skilled nursing facilities (SNF). AIM will joins Adfinitas Health's current 14 hospitals and 40+ post-acute facilities, according to a report on PR Newswire.

"I am delighted that AIM is becoming part of Adfinitas Health – a company that firmly shares our values and approach to care," said Louis O'Boyle, DO, founder of AIM. Eric Nass, President of Adfinitas Health, adds, "We are very impressed with the caliber of the company and the staff that Dr. O'Boyle has assembled.
