Memory Care Forum Austin

Memory Care Forum - Austin

For the foreseeable future, nothing will challenge senior care delivery more than dementia. More than 5 million Americans over age 65 already live with some form of cognitive decline. By 2040, barring treatments to slow or stop the disease progression, that number could skyrocket to 11.6 million for Alzheimer’s disease alone.

As national initiatives mandate the reduction of behavior-controlling drugs and encourage person-centered care, the Institute for the Advancement of Senior Care has made it a priority to provide education on the research, innovations and program approaches to memory care for older adults, both before and after a dementia diagnosis.

The Memory Care Forums will bring together 200 of the nation’s leading care providers to discuss topics such as:

  • Staffing for memory care
  • Dementia care without drugs
  • Financing memory care delivery
  • The DON’s role in memory care culture change
  • And much more!

Who should Attend:

  • Administrators
  • Executive Directors
  • Directors of Nursing and Nursing Supervisors
  • Memory Care Directors
  • Facility Owners and Operators
