Brookfield, Wisc.-based RF Technologies, a company that specializes in radio frequency identification (RFID) healthcare solutions, has introduced resident-monitoring sensor pads that are both antimicrobial and reusable.
As an addition to its Sensatec Fall Management Solution, these bed and chair sensor pads are made of non-slip, latex-free antimicrobial materials and can be used for multiple residents. The pads are waterproof, allowing them to shed moisture and to be submerged for cleaning.
"Not only can our customers provide a higher level of care for their residents, it helps them create substantial savings for facilities as well," said Evelyn Ong, vice president of channel sales and marketing, in a press release. "This is the kind of innovation that stems from attentiveness to our customers’ voices that they can continue to expect from us."
