Online Lippincott guide bridges information gap for smaller facilities

As studies have shown a resource gap in evidence-based clinical information among small independent long-term care (LTC) facilities and larger chains, the need for such information by nurses continues to grow.

To address this point-of-care need, Wolters Kluwer has announced the release of Lippincott Essentials for Long-Term Care, an online clinical reference site designed specifically for LTC nurses at smaller or independent facilities.

The site provides access to a subset of LTC-specific content currently embedded in Lippincott Advisor, Lippincott Procedures and Lippincott Professional Development and includes LTC procedures including videos, checklists and images; LTC diseases, conditions and corresponding LTC care plans with images and charts; plus dozens of online courses offering continuing education hours.
