Call System Manager and Call Lights

Arial Enterprise Manager, a Web-based product developed by Stanley Senior Technologies, enables a staff member to view and analyze Arial Call System data from a number of facilities, from any location. Stanley Senior Technologies’ Arial Call Light System shows all calls from rooms (Bed A, Bed B, emergency, assist, etc.). The light system features zoned lights, multiple colors (red, green, amber, and white), user-defined states (on solid, flash, or flash after predetermined time), and multiple user-defined call levels (such as routine, emergency, escalation, assist, auxiliary, etc.). The system is cancelable only at the source and also integrates with a paging system.

The ShadowFrame™ by Thematics is useful for resident room recognition and to create a homelike feeling. The box gives a visual cue to where a resident lives within the facility. Integrated Staff Call System

Telecor’s VS-Care is a PBX-based staff call system that integrates wireless communication, reporting and invoicing, and local and long-distance telephone services. Priority levels can be set for call-in devices such as a pendant or call cord. Preset announcements can be activated over designated speakers to alert staff of an urgent call. The system can route calls to in-building wireless phones, pocket pagers, PSTN phones, cellular phones, and PDAs.

The resident unit features built-in speaker/microphone, call button, cancel button, ¼″ jack for a call cord input, four LEDs to indicate the unit’s status, and a dry contact relay for wiring a secondary alarm input such as a smoke detector. The unit can also play prerecorded messages of the day’s menu and activities.

Transfer Aid Disc

The SafetySure™ Pivot Disc from Mobility Transfer Systems, Inc., is designed for residents who are able to stand but cannot readily move their legs. A resident with impaired mobility from paralysis or limited upper body function can use the Pivot Disc without the assistance of a caregiver. The disc helps prevent caregiver back strain when assisted transfers are needed. Antislip material on the top and bottom of the Pivot Disc ensures a safe transfer between the bed and wheelchair. Dow polyurethane carpet backing improves the appearance and longevity of carpet through its liquid barrier technology.
