Post Acute Medical buys HealthSouth’s Beaumont Rehab Hospital

Post Acute Medical, based in Enola, Pa., adds another inpatient rehabilitation facility to its specialty post-acute care portfolio with the acquisition of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Beaumont, in Beaumont, Texas.

The 61-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital offers specialty post-acute rehabilitation and therapy services, including stroke recovery, joint replacements, speech-language pathology and respiratory therapy. The deal gives Post Acute Medical a new footprint near Houston, adding to its strong presence in the San Antonio, Texas area.

Post Acute Medical operates in eight states.
