Online education company expands offerings for LTC professionals

From the adoption of electronic health records to Medicare compliance, long-term care facilities are wrestling with new technologies and an overabundance of regulations. Now, a company based in Durham, N.C., offers online training and educational conferences designed for the LTC professional.

AudioEducator offers nearly 250 online healthcare conferences a year for skilled nursing facilities, hospices, physician practices, hospitals and other care environments. The programs provide strategies to overcome the challenges being faced in long-term care and post-acute care facilities, using nationally-known experts from more than 24 specialties and markets.

Sessions include topics such as A Comprehensive Guide to SNF Medicare Appeals, Functional Based Therapies, and Home Health and Hospice Compliance, according to the company's website.

Registration for these online sessions is required and there is a nominal fee.
