Frequency-embedded fabric aids circulation

Basing its technology on the health benefits of prescribed pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMFT), Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.-based Active Edge Technology has developed a fabric infused with electromagnetic frequencies, which is formed into bracelets or necklaces.

As a wearable, waterproof device, the device can safely stimulate the sympathetic nervous system, which increases blood flow, reduces inflammation and gives an uptick in oxygen intake, according to the manufacturer's description.

The company says it has conducted successful clinical trials involving more than 2,500 adults and that it is running additional trials in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Defense.
