New website focuses on living with Alzheimer’s

Naples, Fla.-based AgingCare.com has announced the launch of a new interactive and educational website that, for the first time, includes candid and personal stories of people living with Alzheimer's disease.

FadeToBlank.org was designed "to give a voice to people with Alzheimer’s, so their family members and friends are armed with the information they need to provide the best care possible," according to a press release announcing the launch.

The new website will follow the lives of people currently living with Alzheimer's, as well as offering insights from their caregivers.

“While the majority of industry groups are focused on research and funding, care approaches and support for family caregivers, we are missing a very important voice — the voice of those living with Alzheimer’s,” said Joe Buckheit, president of AgingCare.com. “It is difficult to provide the care and support that more than 5 million Americans with Alzheimer’s deserve without truly understanding what they are going through. FadeToBlank.org finally fills this gap.”
