CMS updates RAI Manual for October 1

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on Wednesday released a sizable update (V1.07) to the Resident Assessment Instrument Manual scheduled to take effect on October 1, one year after the implementation of MDS 3.0.

The 23 MB download includes changes to the following sections of the RAI Manual: Title Page, Table of Contents, Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3 (Introduction, Sections: C, H, I, K, M, N and O), Chapter 4, Chapter 6 and Appendices (A, B, C and E).
