Sunrise Senior Living donates $75k to Alzheimer’s Association
Sunrise Senior Living announced today it will make a $75,000 donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of partner Welltower, Inc.
Welltower CEO Thomas J. DeRosa will be the National Honoree at this year’s Brain Ball, an annual fundraiser for scientific research and support services for people with dementia and their caregivers.
“We recognize the impact Alzheimer’s disease has on both the individuals living with it and their caregivers,” says Sunrise CEO Chris Winkle in a press release. “We are proud to continue our support and donate to the Alzheimer’s Association in the hopes of finding a cure and put an end to this devastating disease that affects so many of the people we care for.”
Sunnrise Senior Living has been a sponsor of this event since it began in 2014.
Sunrise operates 309 independent living, assisted living, memory care, nursing and rehabilitation communities in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
