Formation Healthcare Group launches new SNF comparison tool

Formation Healthcare Group (FHG), a division of Formation Capital, has release a post-acute risk evaluation tool called PARA-SCOPE.

PARA-SCOPE allows stakeholders to analyze summary data and identify key risk areas by comparing one or more providers to benchmarks using the company’s proprietary risk ratings.

“The industry has evolved dramatically over the last few years due in part to the ACA and financial pressures to provide quantifiable quality outcomes for the services provided by all payor sources,” says Trissie Farr, senior vice president of FHG in a press release. “The need for an on-demand, comprehensive tool to assess performance and risk that is descriptive, predictive and prescriptive is critical to understanding clinically-related exposures for many stakeholders.”

PARA-SCOPE generates a quick summary report with regulatory survey outcomes, occupancy, re-hospitalization rates, 5-Star Ratings, enforcement actions, quality measures, special focus facility designation and candidacy and predicted likelihood of adverse outcomes using data from Nursing Home Compare, American Health Care Association, Quality In-Cite and FHG’s proprietary predictive analytics models.

PARA-SCOPE is available on demand exclusively for skilled nursing facilities. Operators can access an assisted living or skilled nursing version of PARA-SCOPE that includes real-time regulatory survey outcomes and access to FGH’s Trigger Reports.
