CCRC comes to seniors’ homes
A continuing care retirement community (CCRC) has found a way to draw people in without moving them in.
North Hill Needham, Inc., a CCRC for those 65 and older, has launched the first life care at home offering in Massachusetts. Connected for Life is a community-based membership program for adults age 55 and older offers who want to the enjoy benefits of North Hill while continuing to live in their own homes.
“Connected for Life is not insurance, it’s assurance,” said Executive Director Janice Masi in a press release. “Members are assured of financial predictability and personalized, superior care coordination.”
Members receive a lifetime guarantee of care along with wellness coaching, care coordination and opportunities for meaningful engagement.
Connected for Life is based upon a model that has demonstrated success since the early 1990s in 30 similar programs across the United States.
