March preview: Annual DESIGN supplement

Coming next month is Long-Term Living’s highly anticipated 15^th Annual DESIGN Environments for Aging supplement. This yearly publication is a special showcase for architectural projects that have achieved exceptionally innovative design solutions in new or renovated environments specifically for aging adults. You can also find the latest senior care design products and services in the DESIGN resource directory.

DESIGN will feature articles that explore the latest trends in senior living design, including communities that embrace sustainable principles; designing creative, thoughtful spaces with limited budgets; and dealing with challenges like aging housing stock, increased regulations, and growing consumer demands for good design.

Senior living projects that received Citations of Merit from a panel of design industry judges will be featured in DESIGN and honored at Long-Term Living’s annual Environments for Aging (EFA) conference, to be held March 20-22 in Atlanta. During the comprehensive three-day learning experience, attendees will network with peers while learning the latest innovations and best practices in the design of long-term and residential care settings.
