Corporate Profiles Introduction

Designer, speak for yourself

For many years Long-Term Living (formerly Nursing Homes/Long Term Care Management), through its annual DESIGN publication, has offered a forum for architectural and interior design firms to display their most recent long-term care projects. The focus-both for the firms and for the reviewers who judged the projects-was on the projects themselves, not on those who created them. Our third annual Corporate Profiles section offers design firms the opportunity to describe and talk about themselves. These “architectural/interior design calling cards,” enable readers to briefly meet and review experienced and accomplished firms in long-term care construction and renovation.

The 30,000-sq.-ft. Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheyboygan Falls, Wis., provides in-patient hospice care in 16 private rooms and 2 pediatric/family rooms. The rooms capture ample natural light with multiple views and each has access to a private outdoor patio.

Engberg Anderson has developed a reputation for designing long-term care environments that adapt to the future, inspire caregivers, and lift the spirits of those served. Our clients are truly our partners; with whom we combine innovative thinking and attention to the smallest details with consistent, forward-looking, evidence-based design. Long-term care communities are homes, not transitory places. We believe that these environments should reflect the familiarity and security that “home” connotes. Our presentation of creative options combined with continuous interaction, communication, and teamwork, ensures successful projects that improve quality of life and quality of care.

At Engberg Anderson, sustainable design principles are applied to every aspect of our daily practice. Our newly renovated home office has achieved LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification and currently we have eight projects registered for LEED certification.

We are confident in our ability to provide both functional and aesthetic designs that meet the highest standards.
