TMC revamps clinical therapy program’s training, treatments

Homosassa, Fla.-based Therapy Management Corp. announced that it has recreated its Clinical Pathways Program in an effort to better serve therapists seeking training and treatment guidelines.

According to a company spokesperson, the remodeling of TMC's clinical program included an aggressive educational campaign to equip therapists with the knowledge necessary to provide the most effective clinical-based care to their most vulnerable patients.

As part of this refocusing, the company introduced "The TMC University of Health and Wellness" and used its proprietary JBS Software Solutions, which was developed by a physical therapist, to create an employee educational database known as "TMC Training Trax."

By using this system, therapists have real-time access to clinical education resources which aids in patient identification, assessment and treatment.

Among the new Clinical Pathways launched under this remodeling effort are: "Don't Skip a Beat" for cardiopulmonary health, "Straight and Steady" for balance and dizziness, "More Than a Memory" for dementia resources, "Beyond Sight" for low vision, "PRIDE" for urinary incontinence and  "Balancing Act" for fall prevention and intervention.
