Ruta Kadonoff named executive director of Pioneer Network

Pioneer Network’s Board of Directors unanimously elected Ruta Kadonoff as the organization’s new executive director. She will assume responsibilities Feb. 8.

"I am honored and excited by this opportunity to serve the Pioneer Network and advance its critically important work," Kadonoff says in a press release. "I am passionate about seeing our vision and values fully realized and look forward to working hand in hand with innovators and individuals across the country who share this passion, who have come together in this unique gathering place for those of us unwilling to settle for the status quo."

Kadonoff has held leadership positions in program development, program and policy analysis, teaching, research and organizational leadership for governmental, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Most recently, she served as vice president of quality and regulatory affairs at American Health Care Association.

"Ruta Kadonoff is a proven leader within the long-term care community," says KaraLe Causey, Pioneer Network board president. "She brings a very unique leadership skill-set that matches with Pioneer Network’s strategic plan for working towards a culture of aging that supports the care of elders in settings where individual voices are heard and respected. Her superb credentials combined with her thoughtful nature and experience actualizing person-centered care and support models makes her the ideal match for the Pioneer Network."

Pioneer Network is a growing collaboration of organizations and people across the United States and Canada dedicated to creating a life-affirming, satisfying and meaningful culture of aging and long-term care.
