Automated data capture sends accounts payable to the cloud

New Mexico-based OnPointe Health, a long-term care provider that will soon be expanding into Colorado and Texas, has partnered with Yooz Inc. to move OnPointe's accounts payable (AP) workflow off the desk and to the cloud in order to reduce administrative costs and processing time.

Yooz, based in Texas, specializes in cloud-based solutions aimed at automating document capture and process automation, a valuable service for care facilities that still do significant amounts of documentation on paper, said Matt Williams, CEO of Yooz. "Moving from the still prevalent practice of manually processing paper invoices and payments to an intelligent AP system lets providers like OnPointe significantly cut their cycle time and costs. We are looking forward to helping OnPointe grow its network of care facilities and bring new locations online as quickly and smoothly as possible."

Michael K. Hoskins, executive vice president and CFO of OnPointe added: "OnPointe prides itself on its extensive experience in both development and operations in senior care, always designing perfectly customized solutions. That’s why we are looking forward to bringing AP Intelligence powered by Yooz into the mix as we continue to grow beyond our home market of New Mexico."
