Leading Associations Partner with the Memory Care Forum

Associations to Collaborate on Meaningful Content for the 2016 Memory Care Forums, produced by the Institute for the Advancement of Senior Care

New York, NY—January 17, 2016. The Institute for the Advancement of Senior Care (IASC) is proud to announce a host of prestigious partners for its 2016 Memory Care Forums, including:

  •  National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP)
  •  National Certification Board for Alzheimer Care (NCBAC)
  •  National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP)
  •  National Council of Post Acute Care Practitioners (NCPACP)
  •  Alzheimer’s Foundation of American (AFA)
  •  Alzheimer’s Texas

This collaboration further supports the Memory Care Forums in the creation of unique and insightful content to be shared with business and clinical professionals –providing education on the research, innovations, and program approaches to memory care for older adults, both before and after a dementia diagnosis.

“For the foreseeable future, nothing will challenge senior care delivery more than dementia,” states Jennifer Turney, Vice President of IASC.  “The backing of these associations enables us fortify our content and provide our conference attendees with the latest, most-effective strategic tools so they may be even more successful.”

The first Memory Care Forum—taking place in Austin, Texas on February 25th and 26th—will bring together 200 of the nation’s leading care providers to discuss topics such as: Staffing for memory care, dementia care without drugs, financing memory care delivery, the DON’s role in memory care culture change, and more.
