Greystone to build $25 million SNF in Florida
Greystone Healthcare Management, an industry-leading healthcare management company based in Tampa, announces development of its newest skilled nursing facility within the Lake Gibson Village community in Lakeland, Fla. The 120-bed, $25M facility will open in late 2020.
Greystone is joining forces with senior living developer and operator Lake Gibson Village to meet a community need for effective post-acute care services for its residents within their continuum of care. When completed, The Health and Rehabilitation Center at Lake Gibson Village will feature 77,000 square feet of space with a mix of luxury private and semi-private rooms as well as a host of amenities and specialty services to make residents feel as if they are in a healthcare resort. According to recent press release, From a state-of-the-art physical therapy suite to specialized orthopedic, cardiac and stroke rehabilitation programs, the center will combine exceptional medical services with luxury living.
“The foundation of all our centers is to facilitate rapid recovery and to restore the quality of life to patients and residents,” said Gregg Clavijo-Hopper, senior vice president of post-acute care services of Greystone Health. “We are proud of the model we have created that produces the ideal environment for this, and the goal for The Health and Rehabilitation Center at Lake Gibson Village will be renewing a sense of well-being and restoring hope.”
Lake Gibson Village is a senior living community located on the shore of Lake Gibson in Lakeland, offering independent and assisted living apartments. In addition to Greystone’s The Health and Rehabilitation Center at Lake Gibson Village, expansion plans for the 45-acre site include the addition of a 64-bed memory care center as well as villas and apartments that will be home to more than 500 seniors.
