Has any of the in-service training you provide direct care workers taught them how to deal with racist attitudes in your facility?

- We are a very diverse workforce and there is no place for racism in the facility.

How has your staff reacted to racism after in-service training? Let us know in the comments below.

Actually, it is not the staff who has racist attitudes, it is our residents. Sadly, I had one resident call another family member the "N" word, the victim is a 14 yr. old young woman, who went running and crying out of the room. When Obama was elected, the "N" word has been and continues to be used. It is disgusting to me. I have told these residents my disdain for such prejudice, with little to no effect. What to do in a scenario like this?
