A new, state-of-the-art day health center is making its home in Dearborn.

A grand opening was held March 28 for PACE Southeast Michigan’s new facility in Dearborn, according to Press & Guide.

PACE Southeast Michigan is a health care plan that provides home and community-based care and services to help seniors maintain their independence.

PACE, which stands for Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, helps older adults live independently at home by providing comprehensive health care and support services for seniors all in one place.

U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-12th District) was among the dignitaries who helped mark important milestones for improving long-term care for seniors in southeast Michigan at the opening of the Dearborn site and the expansion of the Huron Valley PACE facility in Ypsilanti.

“PACE has been an important part of our community for many years, and these expansions in Ypsilanti and Dearborn will help them continue their work as national leaders in long-term care,” Dingell said.
