Primaris and Digital Collaboration Solutions merge

Primaris, a Columbia, Mo.-based healthcare quality improvement consulting firm, is merging with Digital Collaboration Solutions (DCS), a Massachusetts consulting company that specializes in care coordination and provider/patient engagement. The two companies have been working as partners since May 2015, and the merger will enhance Primaris’ ability to offer high-technology solutions for performance management, outcomes reporting and data analytics insights across the care delivery chain.

“Healthcare is strongly moving toward a quality focus with value-based care and MACRA regulations,” said Richard A. Royer, CEO of Primaris. “This merger will help our clients nationwide improve quality of care and navigate all aspects of value-based care transformation, resulting in improved clinical outcomes and enhanced patient experience.”

Primaris CEO Richard A. Royer will serve as CEO of the combined organization. DCS’s founder and CEO Michael Levinger will serve as COO.
