The 2017 Leaders of Tomorrow nominations are open!

We all know someone who goes "beyond the call of duty," is a leader in culture change and quality improvement and serves as a role model, inspiring others along the way. Do you know a caregiver or administrator who is a true leader and change-maker in quality senior care? It's time to nominate someone for the 2017 Leaders of Tomorrow awards program!

For the past five years, the Leaders of Tomorrow awards program has sought out and honored professionals who are busy changing the status quo of senior care delivery in their own spaces and people who are striving to make a greater difference on a national or international level, in one of these areas:

  • administration/operations
  • clinical care
  • memory care
  • research/academia
  • policy/advocacy
  • technology

To be considered for the program, the nominees:

  • Must not have been named a Leader of Tomorrow in the past.
  • Must currently be contributing to the welfare of older adults in one of the aforementioned areas.
  • Must be acting as a role model for others for change and advancement in senior care, actively pushing the line forward on the industry's definitions of quality person-centered care.

All nominees are researched and vetted by I Advance Senior Care’s Editorial team. All decisions on winners are made by the Editorial team, based on each nominee’s accomplishments and impact on the industry. All nominees are considered equally, regardless of how many nominations they received.

The five winners, who will be named in April, will receive award certificates and will be profiled by I Advance Senior Care, published both online and in our print edition.

For other program requirements, please see the online nomination form. You may nominate as many individuals as you like, using one form for each. And yes, you can nominate yourself. Only nominations submitted using the online form can be considered. Also, It's not a popularity contest–it's about people who are being innovative and making a difference. All nominees will be considered equally, regardless of how many people nominate them.

The deadline for 2017 Leaders of Tomorrow nominations is Feb. 23, 2017, 5 p.m. ET.
